Thanks as always for reading. I’ve been away from the newsletter for a while so I have some updates:
My series, “Trans Classic Movies,” has been nominated for an Ignatz award for Outstanding Online Comic. Getting nominated for this comics-industry award is kind of a big deal and is very surprising to me, but I’ll take it! I’m not afraid to say that it would be nice to win, and I’d be very thankful if you request a ballot to vote for me (I am shameless). When you request it, they will email it to you in a few days. There are many other nominees worth your time, attention, and vote so please check them out too.
If you want my thoughts on Ken, I published a comic last month called, “The Low-Key Sadness of Gay Ken” for Into.
I also have a comic out for a new magazine called Roadmap about Ben Stiller as an important film auteur. It’s as weird as it sounds!
